Jiayun Foo | Jia-Yun Foo | University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign | NYC | Suburban Express ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Back to the Suburban Express Response Page ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Suburban Express addresses banned passenger Jia-Yun Foo of New York City Jia-Yun seems to work at TricorBraun We noticed this review on Yelp from Eva S: The shuttle was supposed to show up at 4:30, I waited until after 5pm bc I knew it was during the holidays. There was no number to call to confirm whether or not the bus was cancelled or late bc their office hour is very limited. When the shuttle finally showed up at the pickup station it didn't even bothered to stop. It showed up and DROVED AWAY!!!!!! Leaving me behind and having to cancelled all my plan because I couldn't get on the shuttle. I found it rediculous that there is no phone number after hour to call for situation like this. Absolutely terrible customer service. Because it is over thanksgiving break so I cannot call to request a refund until Monday. I wasted 5hours to figure out an alternative plan which also cost me much more money on top of the ticket I purchased for their shuttle service. There is a minor problem with her claim. It is completely false. This is dashcam video from the bus. It pulls into Oakbrook Mall, stops at the correct location, waits about four minutes, then departs: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mXY46Q9qGfU&feature=youtu.be A day or two later, we received a call from this person Jiayun Foo 27 E **th St #3g New York, NY 10003 Phone: (217) ***-5055 Email: eva***@gmail.com **** Gabriella St. #608, Downers Grove, IL, 60515 During the call, our patient and helpful agent listened to her gripe for a bit, then pulled up the trip data from our bus GPS system. The data revealed that the bus arrived Oakbrook 30 minutes late, due to heavy traffic on I-294. It then sat for about 4 minutes. Then it departed. The agent explained this to her and she did not retract her lie that the bus had not stopped. Nevertheless, the agent offered Jiayun a standby credit for the ticket she did not use. Shortly thereafter, we received a call from Citibank. The little monster had called Citibank and was trying to break the contract she entered into with us, where we agreed to hold a seat for her and send a vehicle for her if an only if she agreed to pay for the seat whether she used it or not -- as is standard practice for perishible services like hotel rooms and other forms of transporation. Citibank rarely takes the merchant's side in matters such as this, even when the cardholder is dead wrong. That forces us to send dishonored charges out for collection. That is exactly what will happen here. We are very frustrated by children like Jiayun who want others to accept responsibility for her failures. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Back to the Suburban Express Response Page ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Our other friends: Katherine Chi Jason Dienhart Murph Finnicum David King Jeremy Leval Bharat Ponnaluri Chris Mulreed Joel Steinfeldt Jessica Koh Jiayun Foo Sami Usmani Consider this a rough draft.
